Refund Policy
First In Safety, an outreach ministry of Rhema of Hope, provides scheduled training and certification services. Serving Central and Southern Ohio.
Effective Date: February 20, 2026
1) Overview
By registering for a class, participants agree to this refund policy. Our goal is to be fair and reasonable while maintaining the integrity and sustainability of our training programs.
2) Standard Refund Window (Public Classes)
- More than 48 hours before class start: Eligible for a refund, minus any non-refundable processing fees.
- Within 48 hours of class start: No refund. A reschedule or class credit may be offered at our discretion.
- No-shows: No refund and no credit.
3) Group / On-Site Training Refunds
Group and on-site training involve custom scheduling and resource allocation.
- More than 7 days before the scheduled date: Eligible for a refund, minus any non-refundable fees or purchased materials.
- Within 7 days of the scheduled date: No refund. Rescheduling or credit may be offered based on availability.
If a signed contract or written agreement exists, those terms will take precedence.
4) Non-Refundable Items
- Late cancellations (inside the refund window)
- No-shows
- Processing fees charged by payment providers (if not returned to us)
- Purchased or issued training materials (opened, accessed, or customized)
- Certification fees and issued certification cards
- Services already delivered (in whole or in part)
5) Blended Learning Courses (Important)
- Once the online portion has been accessed, started, or assigned, the course becomes non-refundable.
- Failure to complete the online portion does not qualify for a refund.
- Rescheduling the skills session may be offered at our discretion.
6) If We Cancel or Reschedule
Participants may choose:
- A full refund, or
- A transfer to a rescheduled class date, or
- A credit toward a future class
7) Partial Completion / Failed Skills / Attendance Policy
- Does not successfully complete course requirements
- Fails the skills or written assessment
- Arrives late beyond the allowable grace period (typically 10–15 minutes)
- Leaves early
- Is removed due to disruptive or unsafe behavior
8) Weather, Emergencies, and Extenuating Circumstances
In cases of severe weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances, rescheduling or class credit may be offered at our discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed unless the class is canceled by First In Safety.
9) Class Credits
- Credits must be used within 90 days of the original class date
- Credits are non-transferable unless approved
- Unused credits will be forfeited
10) How to Request a Refund

- Your full name
- Class name and date
- Email or phone number used during registration
- Reason for cancellation

11) Refund Processing Time
If approved, refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. Timing may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
12) Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update this policy as needed. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
